Deploying a purpose-built AgriERP solution to capture field execution, improve crop-level costing, and integrate real-time farm operations data with enterprise ERP systems.
TECHNOLOGY USED

The client is a large almond farm operating in the United States, managing complex orchard operations across multiple fields, varieties, and operational entities. In addition to farming activities, the organization requires accurate tracking of labor, equipment, materials, and harvest data to support financial accountability and operational decision-making.
To address limitations in field visibility, cost tracking, and operational coordination, the organization implemented AgriERP as a dedicated farm operations system, deeply integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to ensure field-level activity directly informs financial and supply chain processes.
Farm operations relied on spreadsheets, PDFs, and informal communication for planning, harvest execution, labor tracking, and reconciliation, resulting in data gaps, manual errors, and limited operational visibility.
A dedicated farm operations system to digitize field execution, enable granular tracking of costs, labor, equipment, and inventory, and integrate operational data with enterprise financial systems.
AgriERP was deployed as a purpose-built farm operations platform, integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to align real-time field activity with financial, supply chain, and reporting processes.
Farm operations were managed through a mix of spreadsheets, PDFs, and disconnected tools, making it difficult to maintain consistency between planning, execution, and reporting. Harvest planning relied heavily on field inspections and weekly schedules, while work order progress and operational updates were tracked manually, often shared through informal communication. Field tickets, weight stubs, and load information required manual reconciliation, increasing the risk of delays and errors. At the same time, labor, equipment usage, fuel consumption, and chemical application were not captured in a structured way, limiting accurate cost allocation at the field and variety level. With operational data spread across multiple systems, the farm lacked real-time visibility into execution, harvest performance, and true operational costs.
AgriERP was designed and implemented on a scalable Azure-based architecture, integrating directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The approach focused on digitizing farm execution at the source, field activities, harvest operations, labor, equipment, and materials while ensuring all operational data flows into ERP for costing, reporting, and analysis.
Web and mobile applications were introduced to support real-time data capture, geo-location, and task-based work execution, reducing reliance on manual paperwork and informal communication.
AgriERP was implemented as a dedicated farm operations platform designed to digitize field execution and integrate operational data directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The solution enables structured management of farm activities through project-based costing, task-driven work orders, and real-time data capture from the field. By centralizing labor, equipment, fuel, inventory, and harvest data within a single operational layer, AgriERP ensures that on-ground activity is accurately reflected in financial and supply chain processes, supporting reliable costing, traceability, and operational visibility across the farm.
The AgriERP deployment transforms farm operations from manual and fragmented to structured and data-driven. The solution enables:

AgriERP is designed to digitize field execution using task-based work orders, structured data capture, and integrations that align farm activity with the ERP foundation.
AgriERP uses project-based costing where fields act as cost centers and projects accumulate costs for activities like land prep, planting, and orchard removal.
It supports digital field ticket capture, automated load numbering, and reconciliation of estimated versus actual weights to reduce manual effort and errors.
Chemicals and consumables are tracked as inventory items with lot numbers, FIFO costing, and consumption/returns recorded against work orders across locations.
AgriERP supports machinery maintenance through maintenance work orders, preventative maintenance alerts, and cost/personnel tracking tied to equipment activity.
The solution integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and supports integrations with AgWorld, Paycom (upload-based initially), and external sources such as weather, NDVI, and John Deere data
